I was asked to create a new take on the FableDreams logo, creating an illustrated logo design that captures the magical and fairytale elements behind the brand and also decorative enough to be used on packaging or as a standalone mark. -After all, with a unicorn in your corner you are bound to come up trumps!

This is the result of an illustrated and screen printed Christmas invite commission. The brief was to create a silhouette magical illustrated world as a bespoke invitation for the festive holiday season. What with drawing snowflakes and reindeers I am quite ready for the first batch of mince pies! Welcome to the illustrated Winter Wonderland!

I have been working on a set of skulls to celebrate the wonderfully visually rich holiday of Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) creating a set of sugar skull broaches. These fine fellows have been laser engraved into beautiful cherry wood and are the perfect macabre adornment to coat or hat! To purchase one for your very own please visit my illustration shop!

I was commissioned to illustrate a bespoke wedding invitation for a couple getting married in North West France. They love the Art Nouveau aesthetic and wanted this reflected in the design along with the colour pallet of fresh greens and yellows. It was great to work on a brief that was so special and personal to the couple and to help them set the theme for the wedding!

This was a commission to visualise a contemporary version of Lady Macbeth to inspire the hair and makeup and was a brief I thoroughly enjoyed working on! (Out, damn’d [ink] spot! out, I say!)

In this initial artwork I drew her sideways on, looking to the future, -her past clouded with jealousy and envy and the lust for something which is not rightfully hers (the throne of Scotland) her ruthless means of acquiring Macbeth’s ascension is represented by the snake coiled on her cheek as if whispering the dark, tempting thoughts inside her head. The jealousy and greed seeps through onto her cheek, instead of a healthy pink blush I have chosen the colours of envy, the makeup sweeping up to her eyes. It clouds her vision and she sees only blood in front of her, Macbeth’s murder of King Duncan.

I was asked to create art work for a potential new line of low calorie drinks aimed at the female market for the drinks company Silver Spring. Titled ‘Sensation’ the brand needed a logo design as well artwork bursting with colour. The concepts behind the range were, glamorous, pin-up, fun and feminine. It was a great brief to work on and also provided an excellent opportunity to sneak a parrot into the artwork!

A series of four illustrations created for an online blog about make up, beauty products and the real world. The brief was to use photographic representation of the product in question and then create  an explosion of an illustrated world around it, making a change from the purely reportage style of beauty product review.

Back to black! This illustrated wedding invite was commissioned by a transatlantic couple who spend their time between London and Boston and wanted their wedding invitation to illustrate this. This calls for some iconic London skyline buildings, mixed with Harvard (central) Old Boston buildings (right) and of course a teapot! (both the English love of tea and a whimsical Boston Tea Party reference!)

Artwork for Radial Guitars and logo and identity work for (the sub brand) Audio Array. The artwork needed to be bold, graphic and eye-catching and convey the excitement and freshness of the concept. The identity work had to be modern and current but also have a heritage. (Hence the nod to cassette, mixed with rss broadcast.) I was asked to create an illustrated banner for the website and also to design an iPhone App icon to summarise the brand.

These custom painted kicks were created for The Decked Project and were on show at the Coningsby Gallery in London. Vans supplied the exhibition with blank sneakers and left it up to the artists to work their magic! These Lady Lucks were painted in gouache with gold leaf detail (beware of magpies!)
